Tips and Info
Care: Most products are machine washable with cold water, a mild detergent, then drying in a cool dryer. All dark fabrics have some tendency to fade. We suggest dry cleaning all double ruffles and the Emily Grace products.
Use: You can vary the look of your curtains by choosing different lengths and different tieback styles and accessories. For instance, a long curtain looks formal and luxurious, while a short one or a valance used alone has the crisp country appeal. For a less formal, country feel and lots of light, frame a window with nothing but a full ruffled swag.
For the fullness pictured, order curtains 4 to 5 times the width of your window. If your window is wider than 60", please give us a call and we'll be glad to work with you on a window treatment. For more decorating information check out our Curtain Basics section.
Made in USA: All curtains and accessories are proudly made in North Carolina; all fabrics are manufactured in the USA as well.
How to Measure
Begin by measuring the width and depth of your window. Using a tape measure or yardstick, measure the width in inches across the window facing or across as wide an area as you would like to cover. Measure floor length from the top of the facing to the floor, or as long as you want your curtains to be.
All curtains are measured width by length. Round curtain width up to the nearest hundred inches (for instance, a 185"-wide window rounds up to 200").
For fullness, order curtains 4 to 5 times the width of your window. For example, order a 200" curtain for a 30" to 50" wide window.
